Lave-vaisselle

Pour nettoyer le panneau de contrôle, utilisez un linge légèrement humide, puis séchez bien. Pour nettoyer les panneaux peints extérieurs, utilisez une bonne cire à polir pour appareil électroménager.

N’utilisez jamais d’objet pointu, de tampon à récurer ou de nettoyant abrasif sur une partie de votre lave-vaisselle.

Vous pouvez nettoyer les panneaux en acier inoxydable avec un nettoyant pour appareil électroménager en acier inoxydable CERAMA BRYTE® ou un produit semblable avec un linge propre, doux. Vous pouvez commander le nettoyant pour appareil électroménager en acier inoxydable CERAMA BRYTE® au service de pièces GE en appelant le numéro 800.626.2002 (aux États-Unis uniquement). L’acier inoxydable utilisé pour fabriquer le bac du lave-vaisselle et la porte intérieure fournit la fiabilité la plus grande disponible dans un lave-vaisselle GE. Si le bac du lave-vaisselle ou sa porte inférieure se raye ou se cabosse pendant son utilisation normale, il ne rouillera pas et ne subira pas de corrosion. Ces taches de surface n’ont pas d’effet sur le fonctionnement ou la solidité de ces pièces.

Si vous laissez votre lave-vaisselle dans un endroit qui n’est pas chauffé en hiver, demandez à un technicien du service de faire les opérations suivantes :

1.Couper l’alimentation en courant électrique du lave-vaisselle. Enlever les fusibles ou faire basculer le disjoncteur.

2.Couper l’alimentation en eau du lave-vaisselle et débrancher la conduite d’alimentation d’eau du robinet d’eau.

3.Vider l’eau de la conduite d’alimentation d’eau et du robinet d’eau (utilisez une casserole pour recueillir l’eau).

4.Rebrancher la conduite d’alimentation d’eau au robinet d’eau.

L’écart anti-retour

Un écart anti-retour protège votre lave-vaisselle contre un retour de l’eau dans l’appareil si un tuyau d’évacuation se bouche. L’écart anti-retour ne fait pas partie de votre lave-vaisselle. Il n’est pas couvert par votre garantie. Tous les codes de plomberie n’exigent pas un écart anti-retour, et il est possible que vous n’en ayez pas un.

L’écart anti-retour est facile à nettoyer.

1.Arrêtez votre lave-vaisselle et soulevez le couvercle chromé.

2.Dévissez le capuchon en matière plastique et nettoyez avec un cure-dent.

Vérifiez l’écart anti-retour chaque fois que votre lave-vaisselle ne se vide pas bien.
