	Alto- Shaam hot carvin g shelves are designed for the
purpo se of maint ainin g hot food at a temper ature for
safe consump tion. The unit must be ins talled on a level
surf ace in a location that will permit the equipment to
fun ctio n for its inte nded purp ose and allow adequate
access for proper clean ing and main tenan ce.
	The carving shelf		must not be insta lled in any area
where it will be affected by steam, greas e, dripping
water, high tempe ratures, or any other severely adverse
conditions.

THIS EQUIPMENT.

1.WHEN THE UNIT IS EQUIPPED WITH A SNEEZE GUARD :

Refer to the Servi ce Views located in this manua l. Swi ng the sneeze guard up to the proper posit ion and secure each side with the two (2) additional screws provided . Tighten all four (4) screws to mount the sneeze guard sec urely.

2.The hot carvi ng shelf is desig ned to be mounted directly on top of a Halo Heat cook/ho ld oven or holding cabinet. The shel f can also be used as a free-sta ndi ng uni t without the Halo Heat cabine t.

A.CABIN ET MOUNTED SHELVES :

Ins tall the four (4) nyl on screws in the leg mount ing holes to protect the top sur face of the cabine t and to provi de a more stable placement betwee n the shelf and the cabinet . Do not install the 1" (25mm) equi pme nt legs. Place the carvery on top

of the cab inet .

B.FREE -STANDING SHELVES :

Ins tall the 1" (25mm) legs before ope ratin g the she lf. Failure to ins tall the 1" legs pri or to heating the shelf cou ld resul t in damage to the surfa ce on whi ch the shel f is placed, may pos e a potenti al fire hazard, and nul lifies the validity of the UL listing mark .

3.Lev el the appl iance from side -to-side and back-to-b ack with the use of a spi rit level.
