To stop the Self-Cleaning cycle at any time:

1.Push the Set button twice and turn the Set Knob until “0:OO”appears on the display.

2.Turn the Oven Selector and Oven Temperature Control to OFF. When the oven temperature drops below 500°F (260%), move the Lock Lever to the COOK position. Do not force it. Wait until it moves easily.

How it works

During the Self-Cleaning cycle, the oven gets much hotter than it does for baking or broiling...approximately 875°F (468°C). This heat breaks up grease and soil and burns it off.

This graph shows approximate temperatures and times during a Self- Cleaning cycle for 2 l/2 hours.
