Luminous disc	Indicator	Signification	Cause/Remedy
behind the	on the
control knob	cooker
	lights OFF		appliance is switched OFF
	light constantly	cooking zone ON	normal use
	slow flashing of	residual heat	The appliance is too hot to be
	indicator light	display	touched safely.
	(long OFF, short ON)
	fast flashing of a	holiday safeguard	The appliance setting has not been
	luminous disc		changed for over 4 hours. Turn
			control knobs to 0 and then switch
			on again if required.
	fast flashing of	power cut	After a power cut, the appliance
	both control knobs		stays switched off for safety
			reasons. Turn control knobs to 0
			and then switch on again if
			required.
	fast flashing of	faulty installation	Connecting cable between the
	both luminous discs		appliance and the control panel
	alternately		is not plugged in. Check that cable
			is plugged in firmly.
