BROILING IN THE UPPER OVEN

DOOR MUST BE PARTLY

OPEN FOR BROILING

1.Put rack in broiling posi- tion (see page 6 for suggestions); put brorler pan and food on the rack

2.Swing broil stop clips over hinge slots.

3.Close door to the stops.

4.Set Upper Oven Selector to BROIL.

5.Set Upper Oven Tempera- ture Control to BROIL. (Set on a lower temperature

for slower broiling. See below.)

6.When broiling is done, turn both knobs to OFF. Move the broil stop clips and close the door.

Broiling can be slowed (upper oven only) by setting the Upper Oven Tempera- ture Control to a setting lower than BROIL. When it’s on BROIL, the broil element is on all the time. When it’s on a temperature, the element turns off and on. The lower the temperature setting, the shorter are the times when the element is on.

The Oven Selector Knob must be on BROIL for the broil element to heat.

RB1300XK, RB130PXK specifications

The Whirlpool RB130PXK and RB1300XK are two innovative cooking appliances that exemplify the fusion of style, functionality, and technology. Designed to cater to modern kitchen needs, these ranges deliver superior cooking performance while enhancing the aesthetics of the home.

One of the main features of the Whirlpool RB130PXK and RB1300XK is the presence of the remarkable 4.8 cu. ft. capacity oven. This spacious design allows for cooking large meals efficiently, accommodating multiple dishes simultaneously. The oven uses advanced heat distribution technology to ensure even baking and roasting, eliminating the need for constant monitoring.

Both models are equipped with a powerful gas cooktop featuring four burners. The burners are designed with precision, offering different output levels to suit an array of cooking techniques. This versatility makes it easy to simmer sauces, boil water, or achieve high-heat sears on meats. The inclusion of a central burner enhances cooking flexibility, enabling the use of large pots and pans.

An essential characteristic of these models is the Contoured Door Design. This aesthetic feature not only enhances the visual appeal of the appliance but also improves functionality by providing easy access to the oven. Along with a sleek finish, the door is engineered to seal tightly, promoting better insulation and energy efficiency during cooking.

Another noteworthy technology employed in these models is the AccuBake Temperature Management System. This system controls the cooking environment, ensuring that the oven maintains consistent temperatures throughout the cooking process. As a result, users can expect predictable results and culinary excellence, from perfect soufflés to beautifully baked cakes.

The Whirlpool RB130PXK and RB1300XK also come equipped with a hidden bake element, which simplifies cleaning. This feature prevents food spills from sticking to the heating element, making it easier to maintain a tidy oven interior.

Safety is a top priority in the design of these ranges. Consequently, they include features such as a safety lock mechanism, which helps prevent accidental ignition of the burners, and an automatic shut-off for added peace of mind.

In summary, the Whirlpool RB130PXK and RB1300XK are high-performance ranges that combine modern technology with user-friendly design. With a spacious oven, versatile cooktop, advanced temperature management, and a focus on safety, these models are perfect for both novice cooks and seasoned chefs looking to elevate their culinary experiences. Whether preparing family meals or entertaining guests, these ranges are guaranteed to impress while delivering reliable and excellent cooking results.
