5.Grasp the starter grip (Figure 14) and slowly pull it out.The resistance becomes the hardest at a certain position, corre- spondingthecompressionpoint.Rewindtheropealittlefrom that point and pull out sharply.
CAUTION:
zDO NOT pull the starter rope all the way to the end.
zDO NOT release the starter rope after pulling. Allow it to rewind as soon as possible.

6.If the engine has started, slowly return the choke lever (Figure 12) to the CLOSED position. If the engine has not started repeat steps 1 through 5.

zNEVER stop the engine suddenly while working at high speeds.
