Add no water. Cover with lid or plastic wrap. After cooking, stir and

 

 

let stand, covered, for 3 minutes.

Ground Meat

Use this setting to cook ground beef or turkey as patties or in a

 

 

casserole to be added to other ingredients. Place patties on a

 

 

microwave-safe rack and cover with wax paper. Place ground

 

 

meat in a casserole and cover with wax paper or plastic wrap. When

 

 

oven stops, turn patties over or stir meat in casserole to break up

 

 

large pieces. Re-cover and touch START pad. After cooking, let

 

 

stand, covered, for 2 to 3 minutes. You can cook .3 lb, .5 lb, 1.0

 

 

lb and 1.5 lb ground meat by touching GROUND MEAT pad.

 

 

You may choose to enter the weight in tenths of pounds. To

 

 

program, touch GROUND MEAT pad and enter weight by touching

 

 

the number pads. Ex : touch GROUND MEAT pad then 1 and

 

 

3 for a weight of 1.3 lb. If you attempt to enter more or less than

 

 

the allowed amount,

 

 

will appear in the display. The number

Place rice into a deep casserole and add double quantity of water.
