Si ha utilizado un filtro permanente, vacíelo y límpielo.

Antes de volver a hacer café, espere al menos 4 minutos a que la cafetera se haya enfriado.

Limpieza

1Desenchufe el aparato.

2Límpielo con un paño húmedo.

No sumerja nunca la cafetera en agua.

3Limpie las piezas desmontables (bandeja, portafiltros y filtro permanente, en su caso) con agua caliente y un poco de detergente líquido o en el lavavajillas.

Cómo eliminar la cal

Si elimina la cal del aparato de forma regular, prolongará la vida útil del mismo y obtendrá el mejor café durante mucho tiempo.

En caso de uso normal, elimine la cal de su cafetera:

-2 ó 3 veces al año si utiliza agua blanda (hasta 18 dH);

-4 ó 5 veces al año si utiliza agua dura (más de 18 dH). Consulte a la compañía suministradora de agua para obtener información sobre la dureza del agua en su región.

1Llene el depósito de agua con vinagre blanco (4% de ácido acético). No ponga ni filtro ni café en el portafiltros.

2Deje que el aparato funcione dos veces.

Puede usar el mismo vinagre las dos veces.

3Deje que el aparato complete dos ciclos más con agua fría para eliminar cualquier residuo de vinagre y cal.

4Limpie las piezas desmontables (consulte el capítulo 'Limpieza').

BTambién puede utilizar un producto líquido para eliminar la cal. En este caso, siga las instrucciones del paquete del producto.
