Tunggu alat sampai dingin sekurangnya 4 menit sebelum Anda membuat kopi kembali.

Membersihkan

1Cabut kabel alat.

2Bersihkan alat dengan kain yang sedikit basah.

Jangan merendam alat dalam air!

3Bersihkan bagian-bagian yang terpisah (baki penampung tetesan, dudukan filter dan filter permanen, jika ada) dalam air hangat ditambah sedikit sabun cuci atau dalam alat pencuci piring.

Membersihkan kerak

Membersihkan kerak secara teratur akan memperpanjang umur alat pembuat kopi Anda dan akan menjamin hasil seduhan kopi yang baik untuk jangka waktu yang lama.

Untuk pemakaian normal, bersihkan kerak pada alat:

-2 atau 3 kali setahun jika Anda menggunakan air lunak (sampai 18 dH);

-4 atau 5 kali setahun jika Anda menggunakan air sadah (di atas 18 dH).

Untuk informasi tentang kadar kesadahan air, hubungi lembaga setempat yang menangani masalah air.

1Isi tangki air dengan cuka putih (4% asam asetat). Jangan menaruh filter atau kopi dalam dudukan filter.

2Jalankan alat dua putaran.

Air cuka yang sama bisa dipakai untuk dua putaran.

3Jalankan kembali alat dua putaran dengan diisi air dingin untuk membersihkan cuka dan sisa kerak.

4Bersihkan bagian-bagian yang terpisah (lihat bagian 'Membersihkan').

BAnda juga dapat menggunakan cairan pembersih kerak. Dalam hal ini, ikuti petunjuk pada kemasan cairan tersebut.
