Jos käytät kestosuodatinta, tyhjennä ja huuhtele se.

Anna laitteen jäähtyä ainakin 4 minuuttia, ennen kuin aloitat kahvin valmistuksen uudelleen.

Puhdistus

1Irrota pistotulppa pistorasiasta.

2Pyyhi laitteen ulkovaippa kostealla liinalla.

Älä upota laitetta veteen.

3Puhdista erilliset osat (alusta, suodatinosa ja mahdollinen kestosuodatin) lämpimällä vedellä ja astianpesuaineella tai astianpesukoneessa.

Kalkinpoisto

Säännöllinen kalkinpoisto pidentää laitteen elinikää ja takaa hyvän suodatustuloksen pitkäksi aikaa.

Tee kalkinpoisto laitetta normaalisti käytettäessä

-2 tai 3 kertaa vuodessa, jos vesijohtovesi on pehmeää (enintään 18 dH)

-4 tai 5 kertaa vuodessa, jos vesijohtovesi on kovaa (yli 18 dH). Kysy tarvittaessa paikalliselta vesilaitokselta veden kovuudesta.

1Täytä vesisäiliö etikalla (4-prosenttisella etikkahapolla). Älä laita suodatinosaan suodatinta tai kahvia.

2Käynnistä laite kahdesti.

Voit käyttää samaa etikkaa molemmilla kerroilla.

3Käytä laitetta sitten vielä kaksi kertaa puhtaalla, kylmällä vedellä etikan ja kalkkijäännösten poistamiseksi.

4Puhdista erilliset osat (katso luku Puhdistus).

BVoit myös käyttää sopivaa nestemäistä kalkinpoistoainetta. Noudata siinä tapauksessa kalkinpoistoainepakkauksessa olevia ohjeita.
