Valet Take-Over

The Valet Take-Over feature allows the vehicle to remain running after the key has been removed from the ignition. This feature is useful for occasions when you wish to exit and lock the vehicle for short periods of time, but would like to leave the motor running and the climate controls on.

To enable Valet take-over; while the vehicle is running, press 1 time and the parking lights will flash after a couple of seconds turn off the ignition and the car should stay running. Once you exit the vehicle you can lock the system and the car will remain running. If the vehicle shuts down, then the unit did not enter valet take-over mode.
