The VENT removes steam and other vapors from the cooking surface.

NOTE: If the temperature gets too hot around the microwave oven, the fan in the vent hood
will automatically turn on at the low setting to cool the oven. It may stay on up to an hour to cool the oven. When this occurs, you cannot turn the vent fan off. This can happen even though the microwave oven is not in use.
LIGHT
The pad on the bottom left of the control panel controls the cooktop light.
Example: To set the Lamp for HIGH.
