TAPE

TAPE: To play back prerecorded tapes and to record tapes. For tape recording see page 10-11.

Playing tapes

FUNCTION

PUSH

/OPEN

Winding

Select the TAPE function.

Open the tape compartment to load the tape.

Be sure to have the open part of the cassette downwards and the tie left hand spool fully wound.

Close the compartment door again, pushing it softly.

Start playback.

Start reverse playback (AR only)

CLEAR

Stop playback.

CLEAR

TUNE TUNE

Stop playback.

Fast rewind or advance the tape.

On the remote control select the TAPE function pressing the FUNCTION button. For tape recording see page 10-11.

The tape counter resets to "0000" when a tape compartment is opened ("0000" need not be the beginning of the tape).

CD

On the machine select the CD function, by pressing the FUNCTION button repeatedly.

When the disc stops the machine shows its total time.

During playback the machine shows the current track number, and the track's play time. Please read remarks about discs on page 13.

When playing a CD-RW disc, cannot play a unfinalised CD-RW disc.

In case of playing the multi-session CD-RW disc, can play the first session only.

Discs recorded by personal computer or high speed recording may not be played (or cause noise) according recording format.

It is recommended to record discs record as low speed as possible or using recordable CD for AUDIO.

Searching

Select the CD function.

Open the disc compartment to load a disc.

Be sure to have the disc label facing upwards.

To select a specific start track.

SET

CLEAR

Start playback.

If you want to interrupt playback briefly - and to continue.

Stop playback.

To search for a particular point

on the disc reverse or forward. (hold pressed the button more than 500ms)
