Attaching the Mulching Baffle

Yourmowerisshippedfor sidedischargeoperation.Toconvertmower to the mulchingoperation,followthe sequenceindicatedhere:

1.Liftup andholdthe sidedischargecoverand insertthe bottomlip of the mulchingbaffleinsidethe chuteopeningSeeFigure6.

2.Snapthe hooksof the mulchingbaffleoverthe hingepinof the dischargecover.The hooksmustsnap intoplaceonthe hinge pin, lockingthe mulchingbafflefirmlyonto the mower.Release thedischargecover.

ADJUSTMENTS

Cutting Height

Eachwheelhasa heightadjustmentleverto changethe cuttingheight of the mower.Referto Figure7.

1.Depressheightadjustmentlevertowardswheel.

2.Slideleverto desiredpositionfor achangein cuttingheight.

3.Releaselevertowardsdeck.

IMPORTANT:Allwheelsmustbeplacedinthe sameposition.For roughor unevenlawns,moveeachheightadjustmentleverto a higher position.Thiswill preventyoufromcuttingthe grasstoocloseto the

ground.
