ENGIHE OiL FILTER (See Fig. 17)

Replace the engine oiI filter every season or every other oil change if the tractor is used mere than 100 hours in one year

oDrain oit from engine crankcase (See 'q'(CHANGE.3 ENGINE OIL:'in this section of this manual, through ste_ remove drain plug).

o Remove bil filter and wipe off filter adapter.

,Apply a thin coating of new engine oil to the rubber gasket on replacement oil filter.

Install replacement oil filter on filter adapter. Turn oi! filter clocle,vise until rubber gasket contacts the filter adapter, then tighten filter an additional 1/2 torn.

Fill crankcase with new oil (See 'q'OCHANGE EN- GINE OIL" in this section of this manual). For approxi- mate capacity see "PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS" on page 3 of this manual.

oStart the engine and check for oil leaks. Correct any leaks before placing engine into full operation.

IN-LINE FUEL FILTER (See Fig. 18)

The fuel filter should be replaced once each season_ If fuel filter becomes clogged, obstructing fuel flow to carburetor, replacement is required.

oWith engine coot, remove filter and plug fuel line sections.

Place new fuel filter in position in fuel line with arrow pointing towards carburetor..

oBe sure _here are no fuel line leaks and clamps are properly positioned.

,Immediately wipe up any spilled gasoline.

oClean engine, battery, seat, finish, etco of all foreign matter.

,Keep finished surfaces and wheels free of all gasoline, oil, etc.

oProtect painted surfaces with automotive type wax.

We do not recommend using a garden hose to clean your tractor unless the electrical system, muffler, air filter and carburetor are covered to keep water out. Water in engine can result in a shortened engine life
