Detaching Quick Attach Buckets or Round Bale Spear

To avoid injury during removal of bucket or bale spear, do not allow bystanders within 10 feet of loader, bucket and bale spear.

1.Locate tractor and loader on firm level ground.

2.Lower boom arms until bucket or bale spear rests level on ground. Shut off tractor engine and engage tractor brakes.

3.Disengage latch pins by lifting handles and rotating them so pins and blocks provided on attachment ears.

4.Start tractor engine, release tractor brakes and extend bucket cylinders while slowly backing tractor away from bucket or bale spear, until quick-attach bar disengages from attachment channel.

Attaching Pin on Bucket, Round Bale Spear or Manure Bucket

Always wear safety glasses when removing or installing buckets.

Always use a drift and hammer made of non-sparking material (a shot-filled mallet is recommended) to install or remove pins. A steel hammer or drift could generate flying metal fragments and result in injury. Always wear safety glasses when using a hammer to remove or install pins.

Attach bucket to lift boom frame and bucket cylinders with four 1-1/4” x 5-1/2” pins, 3/8” x 3/4” shoulder bolts and lock nuts. Make sure grease fittings are facing up.

Note: Make sure grease fittings on bucket cylinder rods are facing up.

60 Quick Attach and PIn on Manure Bucket with Tines and Dirt Plate

Note: Leave all attaching hardware loose until bucket is fully assembled to facilitate assembly and proper alignment of parts.

Tines

Position tines (5) through clips on bottom plate of bucket. Fasten each tine with a 1/2” x 2” cap screw (6) and lock nut (3). Insert cap screws (2) through from bottom of bucket.

Note: Right-most and left-most tines may require grinding (as shown in Figure Asm-L-0033)to allow clearance for bucket welds.

Dirt Plate

Slide dirt plate (4) onto tines, align tabs on dirt plate with holes in bottom plate of bucket and fasten to bucket with two 1/2” x 1” to cap screws (2), washers (7) and lock nuts (3). Insert cap screws (2) through from bottom of bucket.

Attaching Pin on Bucket

Attach bucket to lift boom frame and bucket cylinders with four 1-1/4” x 5-1/2” pins, 3/8” x 3/4” shoulder bolts and lock nuts. Make sure grease fittings are facing down.
