Weekly maintenance

1Check that the vibration damping elements are not damaged.

2Lubricate the clutch drum bearing.

3File off any burrs from the edges of the bar.

4Clean the spark plug. Check that the electrode gap is 0.5 mm (0,020 inch).

5Clean the ﬁns on the ﬂywheel. Check the starter and the recoil spring.

6Clean the cooling ﬁns on the cylinder.

7Clean or replace the spark arrestor mesh in the mufﬂer.

8Clean the carburettor compartment.

Monthly maintenance

1Check the brake band on the chain brake for wear.

2Check the clutch centre, clutch drum and clutch spring for wear.

3Clean the outside of the carburettor.

4Change the fuel ﬁlter in fuel tank.

5Clean the inside of the fuel tank.

6Clean the inside of the oil tank.

7Check all cables and connections.

8Change the spark plug.

9Change the air ﬁlter.
