The hitch coupler must be properly se- cured to the hitch ball of the towing vehicle. After attachment, pull up on the hitch coupler to make sure that the hitch ball fits snugly on the hitch coupler. There can be no play between the hitch ball and the hitch coupler. Follow all safety warnings in the manufacturer vehicle’s owners manual.

If the coupler is not secured properly, the Log Splitter could come loose while the vehicle is in motion causing property damage, serious personal injury or death.
