OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS (continued)

THROTTLE CONTROL LEVER:

Control's engine speed. (Engine should be operated at full throttle when used in a mowing application, this will insure adequate cooling of the engine as well as maintaining mower deck blade speed) Located on control panel on operators right.

MQKER DECK CUT HEIGHT LIFT LEVER:

Controls the cutting height of the mower deck. Seven positions of adjustment in which the very top, or highest notch, is used for transporting the mower in a non- mowing situation. Located in front of operator on the right side of mower.

BLADE DRIVE:

To engage the mower deck cutter blades, lift switch up lightly and push forward. To disengage blades, pull switch backward. Switch is clearly marked "on and off".

LIGHT SWITCH:

The headlights are activated by pushing the switch forward. Failure to turn off the lights, once the engine is stopped, will result in rapid discharge of the battery.

FUSE BLOCK:

Protection of the electrical system is by (1) 10 AMP fuse. To remove the fuse for inspection, push down and turn cap to the left. If fuse burns quickly, please consult your dealer for inspection and repair. Never attempt to by-pass the fuse by any method.
