Connecting the TOW-BEHIND DR FIELD and BRUSH MOWER to your Tow Vehicle

The Versa-Hitch™ on the TOW-BEHIND DR FIELD and BRUSH MOWER Out-Rigger™ Tow Bar has five (5) positions to accommodate different Tow Vehicle hitch heights (Figure 11). The Versa-Hitch™ positions are also for leveling the machine according to the Cutting Height setting of the machine. See page 24.

NOTE: If the Hitch Plate on your Tow Vehicle is too thick (more than 3/8" thick) for the openings in the Versa- Hitch™, attach the supplied Hitch Extender (Figure 12) to your Tow Vehicle using the hardware provided.

1.Move your Tow Vehicle to a reasonably flat area and set the Parking Brake. Lift the Versa-Hitch™ and slide one of its position openings onto the Hitch Plate of your Tow Vehicle.

USE THE VERSA-HITCH™ POSITION THAT MAKES THE OUT-RIGGER™ TOW BAR LEVEL WITH THE GROUND.

2.Align the hole in the center of the Hitch Plate on your Tow Vehicle with the hole in the Versa- Hitch™. Insert the Hitch Pin and attach the Safety Hitch Clip (Figure 11).
