Beforeyou install the KAV-250cd/2into your system,review the following guidelines to choosethe location for the KAV-250cd/2This. will facilitate a clean, trouble-free installation. TheKAV-250cd/2does not requireanytype of specialrack or cabinetfor installation. Forthe dimensionsof the KAV-250cd/2,see Specifications, on the back cover.

Place the KAV-250cd/2on a firm, level surface, awayfrom exces- sive heat, humidity, or moisture. TheKAV-250cd/2requires at least two inches (5 cm)of clearanceon eachside andat least two inches (5 cm)of clearanceabovethe componentto provide adequateventi- lation. Installations inside cabinetrymayneedextra ventilation.

Donot place the KAV-250cd/2near humsensitive componentssuch as preamplifier phonostagesor tumtables. Althoughthe KAV-250cd/2is well shielded, placing it near these components could create interference and causehum.

Highquality ACline conditionersor filters maybe usedif they are groundedandmeetor exceedthe unit's powersupply rating of 100 VA.
