LISTENING MODE

Dolby Digital (AC-3) Mode

Dolby Digital (also known as AC-3 or Dolby 5.1) surround sound system

delivers a realistic and dynamic sound similar to the latest movie theaters. All

five speakers and subwoofer must be connected for correct Dolby Digital

Surround Sound reproduction. Each channel plays its own unique role in

providing the proper sound. Front left, center and front right speakers join rear

left and rear right to reproduce high, mid and bass frequencies in seperate five

full-range channels of surround sound. Bass rumble, explosions and low

frequency effects you feel are heard through the subwoofer. Most DVD movie

discs have been recorded in Dolby Digital surround sound mode. This set will

automatically select the correct Dolby mode according to source provided.

or AUX button on the REMOTE to select your required audio input source

directly. The corresponding indicator will light.

NOTE: This set will decode and automatically play back whatever sound system was recorded on the DVD or audio disc. For a Dolby Digital or a DTS (5.1 channel) recorded DVD disc, the blue MULTI CHANNEL DECODING indicator will be on and sound will come out of 5 speakers plus the subwoofer. For a Stereo DVD disc (2 channel) or other stereo audio source, the red STEREO indicator will be on, and the sound will only come out of the 2
