NOTE: This set will decode and automatically play back whatever sound system was recorded on the DVD or audio disc. For a Dolby Digital or a DTS (5.1 channel) recorded DVD disc, the blue MULTI CHANNEL DECODING indicator will be on and sound will come out of 5 speakers plus the subwoofer. For a Stereo DVD disc (2 channel) or other stereo audio source, the red STEREO indicator will be on, and the sound will only come out of the 2 front speakers plus the subwoofer. To manually change a stereo (2 channel) disc to Dolby Pro Logic, press the SURROUND button. The sound will come out of all 5 speakers plus the subwoofer.

2Press the SURROUND button on the REMOTE control to select Dolby Pro Logic format (or automatic decoding). Press the STEREO button to select the stereo mode.

NOTE: If the input signal is Dolby Pro Logic format, then two listening modes can be selected: Dolby Digital or STEREO.

A.If a Dolby Digital sound input signal is received, the MULTI CHANNEL DECODING indicator will be on. Sound will come out of all 6 speakers.

B.If a stereo sound signal is received from TUNER or AUX, etc., the STEREO indicator will be on. Sound will come out of 2 front speakers plus the SUBWOOFER.
