Operation

Make sure you understand the controls, their locations, their functions, and their safety requirements.

Refer to the Maintenance section and perform all the necessary inspection and maintenance steps.

Operating Instructions

Handle Adjustment

The handle may be adjusted to different heights for comfortable operation. Stand behind the handle to determine the height. to adjust the handle height, position the capscrews and the locknuts that secure the handle latches to the handle into the other mounting holes in the latches.

See Figure 8A for the highest possible handle heights.

See Figure 8B for the lowest possible handle heights.

1.Install the hardware in the lower holes in the handle and latches as shown in Figure 8.

2.Install hardware in one of the three adjustment holes in the upper ends of each of the handle latches to obtain the desired handle height within the selected range.

3.Slide the bag support rod through into the upper, middle, or lower mounting holes in the handle and secure each end with a cap locknut. The bag support rod mounting hole location corresponds with the mounting hole location for the handle latches as shown in the table.

Open the Fuel Shut-Off Valve

Rotate the valve 1/4 turn counterclockwise to turn the fuel on.

Starting the Engine

1. Connect the wire to the spark plug.
