CAUTION: In order for configuration changes to be retained through
a Switch power cycle or reboot, you must issue a SAVE command after
you have made the change. For more information on the SAVE
command, refer to Chapter 10.

Security Access

Levels The Switch 9000 supports two security access levels:
User
Administrator
User Access Level A user-level account can view all manageable parameters, with the
following exceptions:
User account information
SNMP community strings
A user-level account can use the ping command to test device
connectivity. A user-level account can also change the password
assigned to the account name. If you have logged on with a user
access level, the command-line prompt ends with a (>) sign. For
