Blood ß-Ketone

When:

•Blood ß-Ketone result remains high or becomes higher than 1.5 mmol/L:

What It Means:

You may be at risk of developing diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).3-7

What to Do:

Contact your healthcare professional immediately.

"HI" Result

What It Means:

Your monitor has determined that your blood ß-Ketone result is higher than 6.0 mmol/L, or there may be a problem with the test strip.

What to Do:

Monitor your blood ß-Ketone again with a new test strip. If HI shows on the display window again, contact your healthcare professional immediately.
