RTC Battery Removal

Prerequisite:

Lower Cover Removal

1.Find RTC battery (B) on mainboard as shown on Figure 3-11.

2.Using plastic tweezers, push the RTC battery through the gap in the mainboard connector

(A) to release the battery (Figure 3-16).

+IMPORTANT:

Follow local regulations for battery (Figure 3-16) disposal. 3. Remove RTC battery from mainboard connector.

RTC Battery Installation

1.Put RTC battery (A) into the mainboard connector and press down to secure it. Refer to Figure 3-16.

2.Install lower cover.
