ANSWER: These functions such as “Modem”, Power Supply Management” and “Intel RAID Controller” will be always provided, no matter servers support the features or not.
When users click these linkages, it will display “This information is unavailable” if the server does not support the functions.
3.Can ASM 7.0 provide BIOS version information of managed server? ANSWER: Yes. Please click System and then click BIOS for the information.
4.Can ASM 7.0 support the status monitor of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)? ANSWER: No.
Troubleshooting
1.I cannot launch ASM 7.0 installation when I insert EasyBUILD 7.0 Management CD. It seems to be launched, but disappear immediately.
ANSWER: In case the network environment is not ready, the ASM 7.0 installation will not be launched. Please make sure,
a.Network cable is plugged into system properly
b.Network device is configured properly.
