Restoring a home computer
You can easily restore any of your home computers to a previous point in time with a backup stored on your home server. You can do this by using the PC Recovery Disc. This CD can be used to restore all of the files on your home computer from a backup, including the Windows operating system and applications.
To restore a home computer:
Important: You need the Windows Home Server administrator password to restore a home computer.
1Place the Aspire easyStore H340 PC Recovery Disc in the CD drive of the computer that you want to restore.
2Restart the computer and boot from CD.
3Follow the instructions in the Restore Computer Wizard to restore the hard drives on your home computer.
Note: Your home computer must be connected to the home network with an Ethernet network cable before you begin the restore. Wireless connection is not supported.
