ACR Electronics HRU-100 is an innovative device designed primarily for the safety and rescue operations in marine environments. This highly efficient equipment is part of ACR's suite of emergency beacons that provide reliable communication and alerting services during distress situations. With a focus on durability and performance, the HRU-100 is an essential tool for boaters, mariners, and offshore workers.

One of the standout features of the HRU-100 is its robust design, which is built to withstand extreme conditions typically found at sea. The unit is waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and engineered to float, ensuring that it remains operational even in the harshest environments. The device meets IP68 standards, making it submersible in water for significant periods without compromising functionality.

A key technology incorporated into the HRU-100 is the Global Positioning System (GPS) capability, which allows for precise geolocation data transmission. This feature significantly increases the chances of timely rescue by providing rescuers with accurate positioning information. The HRU-100 also utilizes 406 MHz distress signaling, which is globally recognized by search and rescue agencies. This frequency is crucial as it has a high detection probability and enables quick response times.

In addition to these features, the HRU-100 is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry aboard vessels or store in emergency kits. The device’s user-friendly interface allows for quick activation in emergencies, with a simple, intuitive design that ensures mariners can deploy it under duress without complicated procedures.

Complementing the HRU-100, the Y1-06-0209G beacon serves as an additional layer of security.
