2.15 ATX power control connector (CN7, CN18)

2.15.1ATX feature connector (CN7) and soft power switch connector (CN18)

The PCM-9372 can support an advanced soft power switch function, if an ATX power supply is used. To enable the soft power switch function:

1.Get the specially designed ATX-to-EBX power cable (PCM-9372 optional item, part no. 1703200100)

2.Connect the 3-pin plug of the cable to CN7 (ATX feature connec- tor).

3.Connect the power on/off button to CN18. (A momentary type of button should be used.)

Important Make sure that the ATX power supply can take at least a 10 mA load on the 5 V standby lead (5VSB). If not, you may have difficulty power- ing on your system.
