Setting the rating
The default is “Level 8”.1Select “Ratings” in the “SETUP MENU” and pressENTER.
2Select your desired level and press ENTER.The smaller the number, the higher the level of restriction. For example, setting the rating level to 1 will restrict playback of all discs with a rating level from 2 to 8, either by cutting certain scenes or disabling playback altogether, depending on the disc. Check your disc for details.
3Select the country code for your country.The country code needs to be set correctly, since the rating system differs with the country.

Changing the setting
Once the ratings settings have been set, you first need to enter the password to change them.
1Select “Ratings” in the “SETUP MENU” and press
ENTER.

“Unlock Player” resets the rating level, country and password setting to default.
4If you chose “Unlock player”, the message “The player is unlocked” appears on the display. Press
ENTER.
