3.1General
Section3 applies to both the
PERCEPTION120
andthe
PERCEPTION220
.
Themicrophone uses a condenser transducer de-
signedfor 48-volt phantom powering to DIN 45 596/
IEC268-15 and needs an external power supply.
3.2Pinout
Themicrophone provides a balanced output on a 3-
pinmale XLR connector:
Pin1: ground
Pin2: hot
Pin3: cold
3.3Connecting the Microphone

1. Usean XLR cable to connect the microphone to
abalanced XLR input with phantom power.
2. Switchthe phantom power on. (Refer to the user
manualof the unit to which you connected your
microphone.)
