Patch Release Note

PCR: 02415

Module: IPG

Network affecting: No

Packets with a RIP source address and next hop address that are not on the same subnet as the interface will now be processed. If the received next hop is not on the same subnet, it is treated as 0.0.0.0.

PCR: 02420

Module: SWI

Network affecting: No

On GBICs, the link was forced up when the transmit fibre was removed. Once up, the link could not be taken down again by removing the transmit fibre. This issue has been resolved.

PCR: 02423

Module: SWI

Network affecting: No

IGMP messages sometimes caused a fatal error. This issue has been resolved.

PCR: 02425

Module: IPG

Network affecting: No

Multicast downstream groups are now added and deleted correctly.

Errata

AT-9800 Series Switches do not have Ethernet interfaces (for example, eth0). Previously released documentation incorrectly states that these interface types are valid. AT-9800 switch ports are Ethernet ports, and these are referenced in commands with the PORT parameter.

IPSec and ISAKMP are not available on the 2.4.4 release for SwitchBlade 4000

Series Switches and AT-9800 Series Switches.
