When using remote control

• Changing Switch

To operate the DVD Player shift the changing switch to the “DVD” side. Operate while viewing the blue charac- ters on the remote control unit.

DVD / AUDIO

Switching to “AUDIO” makes it possible to operate Alpine audio products as well. Operate while viewing the white characters on the remote control unit.

•Point the remote control at the remote sensor within about 2 meter.

•It may not be possible to operate the remote control unit if the remote control sensor is exposed to direct sunlight.

•The remote control is a small, light weight precision equipment. To avoid damage, early battery wearing, opera- tions error and deterioration of opera- tion feeling, take care of the followings.

-Do not apply any shock.

-Do not put in a trouser pocket.

-Keep free from splashing of a drink, moisture and dusts.

-Do not place in direct sunshine.

Replacing the batteries

Opening the battery cover

Push on the cover and slide it as indicated by the arrows then the cover will be removed.

Replacing the battery

Remove the old batteries. Insert new ones matching the (+) and (–) polarities as shown in the diagram inside the remote control. -

Closing the cover

Push the cover in the arrow direction until a click is heard.

Note: Use two AA size batteries.

Warning

DO NOT OPERATE THE EQUIPMENT OR LOOK AT THE SCREEN WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE.

Operating the equipment may distract the driver from looking ahead of the vehicle and cause accident. Always stop the vehicle in a safe location before operating this equipment.
