Displaying the CD title

Press “TITLE” to display the CD title, etc., on the head unit’s display.

Press “TITLE” on the head unit.

The display pattern changes each time the button is pressed.

*1In the TRACK NO./TIME display mode the time display shows 0:00 and does not move.

*2Displayed during playback of a text compatible CD (when using an optional text compatible). “NO TEXT” will be displayed when the CD is not text compatible.

*3“--------” will be displayed when the title has not been inputted.

Switch

Operation

 

 

SOURCE

Turns the power on and off.

 

When pressed again, the source switches.

 

The DVD player’s power is on when the CD mode is selected, off when other modes

 

are selected.

TITLE

Switches the display pattern. / Sets the title input mode.

RPT

DVD: Chapter repeat

Video CD/CD: Switches between track repeat and disc repeat

fStarts playback from the beginning of the following chapter/track. When pressed and held in, fast-forwards the disc.

cStarts playback from the beginning of the current chapter/track. When pressed and held in, fast-reverses the disc.

Switches between play and pause.

Rotary Encoder

Adjust the volume.

Notes:

The functions and operations may differ when using with a head unit other than the CDA-7865R.

For video CDs with playback control (PBC), turn PBC off.

Titles can be input for video CDs and CDs. For details, refer to the operating instructions of the connected head unit.
