Detour Based On

When you select “Detour” in the Traffic Incident List screen or press the DETOUR key on the remote controller, the Navigation shall allow you to detour your route based on the setting you have chosen.

Setting item: Detour Based On

Setting content: Traffic (Initial setting) / Distance

Traffic: The system shall perform a detour by considering traffic congestion reported along the route within 30 miles ahead of the vehicle.

Distance: The system shall perform a detour by considering distance selected by the User only.

At present traffic information is not available for all cities. Please contact XM for updated information on traffic coverage for your area.
