MAKING CONNECTIONS

Warning: Do not insert the speaker system’s universal power supply into a wall outlet until all connections are made. Also, turn off your iPod mini before docking on the inMotion iMmini system.

To ensure first-time operation as expected, please carefully follow the connection sequences described below in the order indicated.

The iPod mini can be connected to the inMotion iMmini system via the docking port, while other audio devices must be connected using the secondary input jack. These are the only signal input connections that need to be made. After either of these connections are made, insert the barrel connector from the universal power supply into the connector marked

DC (BATTERY) POWER

2.Turn on the Altec Lansing inMotion iMmini system by sliding the power

switch located on the top/right of the unit PLACING THE INMOTION SYSTEM to the right. A green LED will light next to the button when the power is on. The LED will turn amber in color to indicate the batteries need to be replaced.

AUTO POWER ON/OFF

The Auto Power On/Off feature is enabled after the inMotion unit is initially turned on using the power switch. After this initial step, the inMotion system will shut down automatically within a minute of the audio signal being turned off (or faster if battery power is running low), and turn on automatically when it detects an audio signal.
