The appliance must be inst alled by a qualified serv ice technician. The oven must be properly grounded in accordance with the Nat ional Elec trical Cod e and applic able loca l codes.

In Canada, all electrical connections are to be made in accordance with CSA C22.1, Canadian Electrical Code Part 1 or local codes.

IN STA LLA TION

After wiri ng and pow er con nection has been completed, turn the main power switch to the “ON” posi tion. The main power switch can be left “ON ” for daily use , but should be turned “OFF” whe n cleaning or performing mainte nance or repai rs to the rotisse rie.

REGARDING INTERNATIONAL STANDARD UNITS: If the unit is not equ ipped with flexible cord

with plug, an all-p ole cou ntry approved discon necti on dev ice which has a cont act separation of at least 3mm in all poles mus t be incorp ora ted in the fix ed wirin g for dis conne ctio n. When using a cord without a plug , the green/yellow con ductor shall be connec ted to the terminal which is marked with the ground symbo l. If a plug is use d, the sock et out let must be eas ily acce ssi ble. If the power cord needs replaceme nt, use a sim ilar one obtained from the distri butor. For 230V units: To prevent an electrical shock hazard between the appliance and other appliances or metal parts in clos e vici nity, an equa lization bonding stud is provide d. An

equa lization bonding lead must be conne cted to this stud and the oth er appliances / metal parts to provide suff ici ent protect ion against potential difference. The terminal is marked with the

follo wing symbol.
