10. MASTER VOLUME LEVEL INDICATORS - ThedualMASTERLEVELLEDindicatorsareusedtodetailthe
masteroutputlevel.Themeterswilldetailtheoutputlevelofboththeleftandrightchannels.
11. CUE MIXING CONTROL - ThisfunctionsallowsyoutomonitortheCuelevelaswellastheProgram(main
output)levelinyourheadphones. AchannelsCueLevelmay onlybemonitoredifthe channelsCUE (4) func-
tionisselected.Toselect achannelscuefunctionpressthe CUE BUTTON (4) thatisdirectlyassociatedwith
thespecificchannelyouwishtomonitor.YoumayusethemixingfunctiontoblendboththeCuelevelandthe
Programlevel together.Youcan varythe outputlevelto eitherhear moreorless ofeither ofthe twolevels.
TurningtheCueMixingknobtotheCUEposition(left)willallowyoutohearmoreoftheCuelevel.Turningthe
knobtothePGM position(right)will allowyoutohearmoreof theProgramlevel(mainoutput).Youmay also
usetheCue MixingControltohear eithertheCue levelortheProgram levelexclusively.Ifthe knobisin the
fullCUEpositionyou willonlyhearthe cuelevel,ifthe knobisinthe fullPGMpositionyou willonlyhearthe
mainoutput.Thisfunctionisespecially usefulwhenmixingwithoutanmonitor.
12. HEADPHONE JACK - Thisjackisusedtoconnectyourheadphonestothemixerallowingyoutomonitor
thecuesource.Useheadphonesonlyratedat8ohmsto32ohms.MostDJheadphonesareratedat16ohm,
thesearehighlyrecommended.AlwaysbesuretheCUE LEVEL VOLUME (6) issettominimumbeforeyouput
theheadphoneson.
13. CHANNEL VOLUME FADER - Thesefadersareusedtocontrol theoutputsignalofanysourceassigned
toitsparticularchannel.However,mastervolumeiscontrolledbythe MASTER VOLUME CONTROL (7).
14. FEATHER FADER PLUS CROSSFADER - Thisfaderisusedtoblendtheoutputsignalsofchannelsone
andtwotogether.Whenthefaderisinthefullleftposition(channel1),theoutputsignalofchannelonewillbe
controlledbythemastervolumelevel.Thesamefundamentalswillapplyforchanneltwo.Slidingthefaderfrom
onepositiontoanotherwillvarytheoutputsignalsofchannelsoneandtworespectively.Whenthecrossfader
issetinthecenterposition,theoutputsignalsofboththechannelsoneandchannelstwowillbeeven.
15. FADER ASSIGN KNOB - Thisknob assigns a channel to the CROSSFADER (14). When a channel is
assignedtotheleftsideoftheCROSSFADER (14) thatchannelsoutputlevelisroutedtoandcontrolledbythe
CROSSFADER (14).SlidingtheCROSSFADER (14)toleftpositionwillsendthevolumeoutputoftheassigned
channel tothe MASTER VOLUME LEVEL (7), sidingtheCROSSFADER (14) torightpositionwillcutthatchan-
nels volume to MASTER VOLUME LEVEL (7). Thereverseistruefortherightchannelfaderassignswitch.When
theassignswitchissettothe“OFF”positionthecrossfaderwillhavenofunction.
16. CROSSFADER CURVE ADJUSTMENT - Thisrotar yknobisusedtocha ngethewaythecrossfaderwill
operate.Thecrossfadercanoperateindifferentmodes,“NORMALCURVE”,“QUICKCURVE”oranyvariation
ofthetwo.(QuickCurveusuallyusedforscratching).
17. CUE, SYNC, PITCH BEND, & PLAY/PAUSE -
CUE 1, 2, & 3 - These buttons will set or trigger hot cue 1, 2, or 3.
DELETING HOT CUE POINTS - If a hot cue point is set, it is indicated by a lit Cue but ton LED. If you wish
to delete a hot cue point, press the Shift button. The shift b utton LED will ash along with the Cue LEDs.
Press the Cue button that contains the hot cue you wish to delete. After, press the Shift but ton again to
disable the soft shift..
PITCH BEND - To perform temporary pitch bends in V irtual DJ, hold the Shift button and Cue 1 to slow the
track. To speed up the track hold the Shift button and press the Cue 3 b utton. To reset the pitch, hold the
Shift button and press Cue 2.
SYNC - Will sync the selected deck to the opposite de ck or master deck/tempo.
CUE - When the deck is playing, pressing this button will return to the 1st cue point. If the deck is
paused, pressing Cue will set a new cue point.
