BASIC OPERATION

13. SETTING CUE POINTS

A cue point is the exact point playback will begin when the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (18) is pressed. A cue point
may be created anywhere on a disc or in a track.
Use the
JOG WHEEL (13)
JOG WHEEL (13) to set a cue point by frame. While JOG WHEEL (13)
the disc is in pause or cue mode, use the
JOG WHEEL (13)
to
scroll through a track to find your desired starting point.
Once you have found your desired cue point press the
P
LAY
BUTTON (18)
to enter this point in to the unit's memory. At

CREATING AND PLAYING A LOOP

A loop is a sound loop that plays continuously. You can use this loop to create effect in your mixing. This loop
has no time limit and you could actually loop the entire length of disc. You create a loop between two continu-
ous points of a disc. The following steps illustrate the procedures for creating a loop:

LOOP BUTTON (9)
. This will set the starting loop
point. The
LOOP
LED (8)
will flash briefly indicating a starting
point has been set.

Press the
LOOP BUTTON (9)
again to set the ending point
for your LOOP (Figure 13). The
LOOP

will begin to
flash indicating a loop has been activated.

to activate
playback mode.
