Handling the Monitor
Follow these procedures for handling a monitor:
m Turn down the screen brightness control if you leave the computer turned on for extended periods. If the brightness is not turned down, the image on the screen could “burn in” and damage the screen.
You can also use a “screen saver” program, which dims or varies the image on the screen when the computer has been idle for a specified period of time. These programs are available from independent suppliers and user groups.

Keep these important safety instructions in mind as you use CD-ROM discs:

mHold a disc by the edges or by one edge and the center hole. Do not touch the disc surface.

mTo clean discs, wipe the shiny surface with a soft damp cloth, working in straight lines from center to edge. Do not use any form of cleaning agent.
