OTCfgRemoteIPCP

The OTCfgRemoteIPCP structure stores information for configuring the Internet Protocol Control Protocol (IPCP) layer of PPP. This information is also used as part of a Remote Access server configuration. This structure is not used for ARAP connections.

Field descriptions

version

Depending how the preference was constructed, version

 

may be kOTCfgRemoteDefaultVersion or

 

kOTCfgRemoteAcceptedVersion. When reading the version

 

field, accept either value. When writing the version field,

 

set it to kOTCfgRemoteDefaultVersion.

reserved

Must be zero.

maxConfig

Must be 10.

maxTerminate

Must be 10.

maxFailureLocal

Must be 10.

maxFailureRemote

Must be 10.

timerPeriod

In milliseconds. Must be 10000.

localIPAddress

Must be zero.

remoteIPAddress

Must be zero.
