When the motherboard is set to JumperFree™ mode, this field sets the internal frequency of your CPU. Select [Manual] if you want to make changes to the next two fields. Note that selecting a frequency higher than the CPU manufacturer recommends may cause the system to hang or crash.
CPU : System Frequency Multiple, (if CPU Speed set to [Manual])This field is for unlocked processors only and will not be available to standard AMD processors. If the processor frequency multiple is detected as being locked, you cannot access this field. For unlocked processors, this field sets the frequency multiple between the CPU’s internal frequency (CPU speed) and the external frequency. Set this field in conjunction with the System/ PCI Frequency (MHz) to match the speed of the CPU. Configuration options: [5.0x/14.0x] [5.5x/13.5x] [6.0x]...[12.0x] [12.5x/13.0x]
System/PCI Frequency (MHz) (if CPU Speed set to [Manual])
This feature tells the clock generator what frequency to send to the system bus and PCI bus. The bus frequency (external frequency) multiplied by the bus multiple equals the CPU speed. Configuration ranges from 100/33 to 227/57.
