You must configure the network settings of both the remote server and the local/ central server to establish communication for remote server control and monitoring. Prepare the support CD and a bootable floppy disk to configure the network settings.
Running the BIOS IPMI configurationTo configure the IPMI in the BIOS:
1.Restart the remote server, then press <Del> during POST to enter the BIOS setup.
2.Go to the Server menu, then select the IPMI Configuration sub‑menu. Use this
