5.3BIOS menu screen

When you enter the BIOS, the following screen appears. The BIOS menu screen displays the items that allow you to make changes to the system configuration. To access the menu items, press the up/down/right/left arrow key on the keyboard until the desired item is highlighted, then press [Enter] to open the specific menu.

Function Description

<F1>

Displays the General Help screen from anywhere in

 

the BIOS Setup

<Esc>

Returns to the main menu from a sub-menu or

 

prompts you to quit the setup program

Left or Right arrow

Selects the menu item to the left or right

Up or Down arrow

Moves the highlight up or down between fields

<Enter>

Brings up a selection menu for the highlighted

 

field

<+> or <PgUp>

Moves the cursor to the first field

<-> or <PgDn>

Moves the cursor to the last field

<F5>

Loads the previous values

<F6>

Loads the fail-safe defaults

<F9>

Loads the optimized defaults

<F10>

Saves changes and exits Setup
