Telephone base

CHARGE/IN USE

ƨ Flashes when the answering system is answering an incom- ing call.

ƨ Flashes quickly while an incom- ing call is ringing.

MESSAGE COUNTER

Number of messages (or during playback, message number currently playing).

CLOCK

Press to review or set clock (page 30).

DELETE

Press to delete message currently playing; press and hold to delete all old mes- sages (page 33).

REPEAT

Press to repeat message; press twice to play previous message (page 33).

PLAY/STOP

Press to start or stop mes- sage playback (page 33).

HANDSET LOCATOR

Press to make the handset beep when the handset is not on the telephone base (page 15).

ANNC.

Press to review or record announcement; press again to quit (page 31).

RECORD

Press to record a memo (page 34) or after press- ing ANNC. to record an outgoing announcement (page 31).
