Adding & registering handsets
Before using a new TL76008 handset, you must register it with the TL76108 telephone base (purchased separately). The TL76108 telephone can accommodate up to eight cordless handsets.
The handset provided with your TL76108 is automatically registered as handset 1. Additional handsets will be assigned numbers in the order they are registered (handset 2, handset 3, and handset 4 etc.). You can register a maximum of eight handsets.

When first purchased, all optional accessory handsets will show NO BASE SUBSCRIPTION and ENTER BASE ID on the screen alternatively. The new handset may need to be charged for five minutes before registering to the telephone base.
