Hardware Setup

Rack Mounting
The EC1000 / EC2004 can be mounted in a 19” (1U) rack or in an 0U configuration mounted to the side of the rack. To rack mount the device, use the rack mounting brackets that came with your device. The brackets are screwed to the front, rear or middle sides of the device, depending on the installation type and then the unit can slide into the front of the rack, or mount to the side of the rack, as shown in the diagrams below:
Rack Mounting - Front
1.Use 3 M3 x 8 Phillips hex head screws supplied with the rack mounting kit to screw the rack mounting brackets into the sides near the front of the unit.
2.Position the unit in the front of the rack and align the holes in the mounting brackets with the holes in the rack.
