4 Installing/updating device drivers and firmware

ExpressPCI FC host adapters require a device driver and firmware for proper operation. Your adapter firmware was properly flashed before shipment, but the firmware may need to be updated as new versions become available, or if the factory-installed version becomes corrupt. Visit the ATTO website, www.attotech.com, to download the latest drivers and firmware.

ATTO recommends using the same device driver and firmware version. To verify the version:

Windows Use the ATTO ExpressPCI Configuration Tool for complete information about the driver and firmware version or use a combination of the adapter boot string (firmware

version) during system boot and the Device Manager (driver version)

Mac OS X Use the ATTO ExpressPCI Configuration Tool (driver and firmware version available) or Apple System Profiler (driver version only)
